About Me

I am the owner of The Soap Kitchen Trinidad & Tobago. At The Soap Kitchen, we make over 50 varieties of bar soaps, which is offered under different collections. I am very passionate about using and making Eco-friendly, botanical based products. I am Vegan by choice, a tree-hugger, Artist: I love to paint and make mosaic creations, But mostly I love to design and create Bath & Body products. I have been learning about environmental issues since I was a teenager, and aromatherapy and herbalism since 2003. My environmental interests include conservation, mammals, urban wildlife issues, environmental education/awareness, ethnobotany, and public perception. I left a great corporate career to become a business owner. I discovered blogging and am now enjoying life as a right-brained new media person with a passion for soapmaking.


 

 

 

I, am a holder of an MBA in Marketing, BFA in Interior Design, Diploma in Chemistry and Technical Aspects of Perfumery , Editorial Consultant, motivational speaker and passionate spokesperson for entrepreneurs from all walks of life, Leigh has also completed additional studies in Strategically Resolving & Negotiating Conflict in the work place, Fundamentals of Sales Management, Edible Oil Refining and Processing, Soybean, Canola, Sunflower, and Corn Oilseed Extraction and Soy foods: Ingredients, Preparation, and Utilization, Chemistry, Formulation, and Performance of Syndet Bars.
